Who we are
Touch The Stars is an entertainment agency operating in Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, El Gouna, and Marsa Alam, Egypt. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our marketing website, hotel portal, and artist portal.
What we collect
From hotel users and artists, we collect contact details (name, email, WhatsApp number), profile information you choose to provide, scheduling and engagement records, and — only when you explicitly grant location permission — coarse location at the moment you mark yourself en route or arrived at a venue. From visitors to the marketing site, we collect only what is needed to load and operate the page.
Why we collect it
We use this data to coordinate engagements between hotels and performers, send verification codes and operational notifications, generate contracts and invoices, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we store it
Data is stored on infrastructure controlled by Touch The Stars. Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest. Production database backups are encrypted with an offline key before being uploaded to object storage. Sessions use HttpOnly cookies; passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we cannot read your password.
Who we share it with
Operational engagement data (artist contact, scheduled times, location at en-route/arrival) is shared with the relevant hotel and artist for each booking. Email delivery uses a third-party transactional provider. Location data is never shared more broadly than the booking it relates to.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account. Artists can stop sharing location at any time by declining the browser prompt; existing location records are retained for audit unless deletion is requested.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only — primarily an HttpOnly session cookie set after you sign in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
